The Kennebecasis Valley Fire Department is currently accepting applications to join our composite fire service as a volunteer member. Volunteers with our department enjoy the following benefits:

Practical experience to assist in making firefighting a career

Volunteer fire fighters participate in emergency operations involving fire suppression, vehicle extrication, water and ice rescue, hazardous material incidents, and medical first aid. Last year volunteer firefighters were dispatched to over 500 requests for assistance. Volunteer firefighters also aid their community by participating in fund raising activities for local charities.

If you are 18 years or older, have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract, a reliable means of transportation, are physically fit and a resident of Rothesay, Quispamsis, or our local service district coverage area we want to hear from you!
